Mostly everyone in business in Cairns has in some way been connected through or with the Cairns Business Womens Club!
CBWC was born in the 1980’s from a vision to improve the profile of women in business in Cairns. Nearly 40 years later the Club continues to realise that vision through its regular networking events, annual awards and leadership role in the Cairns business community providing support, inspiration and professional development to its members.
Although we still have a way to go to close the gender pay gap, a great deal has changed over relatively recent years. And it's thanks to women like CBWC Founder, Margaret Gill who had the steadfast resolve to stand tall and invite other women and men to join in, celebrate, recognise and support local Cairns women in business!
